Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School is located in Stourbridge, 30 minutes from Birmingham, Worcester and Wolverhampton, and only a few minutes from the Clent Hills. We follow the Steiner Waldorf curriculum, providing all-round education for children aged 3-17 years. We are the only school in the region providing a real alternative to state education. Our most recent Ofsted inspection rated all areas of the school as “Good”. Our aim is to nurture creative confident, social, responsible young people and support them to reach their full potential. We are looking for an experienced administrator with experience of examinations, admissions and educational administration to join our friendly administration team. A sound track record of administration work in a school setting is essential, along with previous experience as an examinations officer/administrator. The role will involve responsibility for all exam organization and supervision of the school as an exam Centre, ensuring the smooth running of all internal and external examinations. Ideally, you will have experience of working with multiple awarding bodies and qualifications including JCQ and Cambridge. Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School are currently members of The Exams Office. You will also be responsible for oversight and co-ordination of the end-to-end admissions process for the school which includes, acting as the first point of contact for all admissions enquiries and applications from new and prospective parents, organizing prospective parent and pupil visits, organizing pupil trials with class teachers and guardians, arranging interviews with staff and parents and keeping accurate admissions records. In addition, you will be responsible for areas of educational administration such as supporting teachers in collating and preparing pupil progress reports including half-termly progress reports, pupil commendations and end of year reports, administering the work experience programme for Class 10 pupils and processing College applications for Upper School students.
