King's College London (informally King's or KCL; formerly styled King's College, London) is a public research university located in London, United Kingdom, and a constituent college of the federal University of London. This is an exciting opportunity for a research administrator to join an active research group with an international reputation in experimental medicine research particularly in the context of hypoglycaemia as a complication of insulin therapy. The post is to assist with the coordination and implementation of the Hypo-METRICS project, part of the Hypo-RESOLVE consortium. The main aim of the project will be to evaluate the impact of asymptomatic biochemical hypoglycaemia on biomedical, patient reported and health economic outcomes. The study will recruit over 600 participants with insulin treated diabetes across 8 centres in the UK and Europe. The post holder will work alongside a project manager, clinical research fellow, clinical research nurse and data analyst. The post-holder will be responsible for providing support to the research team, liaise with the other study centres, and provide administrative support. Training in the necessary procedures will be available.
