As well as developing services on our current site we have long-term aspirations for the future. To greet and book in/book out patients attending the clinic, using Meditech and IDEAS as required and advise appropriate staff of patient arrival. To deal with all patient queries and concerns at the reception area.To answer telephone queries and concerns – (these may be of a sensitive nature)To register new patients and make new patient appointments using logging procedures on Meditech and Choose and Book as required, sending out relevant patient letters. To make follow up appointments as required, sending out relevant patient letter. To issue patient information leaflets as required. To take payment from private patients for consultation, screening and drug top ups, via cash, cheque or debit/credit card, and record all payments on IDEAS. To maintain filing systems as required. To understand the HFEA code of practice and Hewitt Centre standard operating procedures (SOPs) in order to be able to discuss basic information with couples attending for treatment. To communicate effectively with members of the multi disciplinary team working within the unit. To assist with general administrative duties e.g. dealing with mail, photocopying. Reception Admin staff work on a Rota that includes every other Saturday. The post holder maybe required to work within any of the satellite centers or in the Hewitt Centre Liverpool.
