About Us

AFFCAD UK is a small, friendly and committed organization supporting charitable activities in Uganda. We work in partnership with AFFCAD Uganda to deliver quality, accessible education and vocational training to young people and families living in poverty. It is an exciting time to join AFFCAD UK as we look to increase our team and strengthen our fundraising activities. We are looking to recruit a committed and passionate Finance Trustee to our board, who can offer us support as we approach a period of growth. AFFCAD UK are at an exciting stage of growth. In order to best support AFFCAD Uganda and the programmes we deliver to the community in Bwaise, we are strengthening our team in the UK by increasing recruitment, conducting a gap analysis and further formalizing our structure. You will be joining a small team of motivated individuals who share a common goal of taking AFFCAD UK a step further, refocusing on raising awareness and increasing funding for the people/community in Bwaise who rely on our support. In doing so we are able to support grassroots projects (focused on youth empowerment, education and health) to uplift and enrich the lives of Ugandans living in Bwaise.
