Crisis is the UK national charity for single homeless people. The charity offers year-round education, employment, housing and well-being services from centres in London, Newcastle, Oxford, Edinburgh and Merseyside, called Crisis Skylight Centres.As well as year-round services Crisis runs Crisis at Christmas, which since 1972 has been offering food, warmth, companionship and vital services to homeless people over the Christmas period. Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it. Our housing, education, employment and wellbeing and mental health services help people leave homelessness, as well as one-to-one support, advice and courses we offer for homeless people in 12 areas across England, Scotland and Wales. Our administration team in Coventry provide high quality administrative, secretarial and back office support to our frontline services which support people who are homeless or at risk from homelessness. An important part of this when we are in the office is to welcome and greet existing and new clients, respond to questions whilst showing sensitivity and compassion to people who are in emergency housing situations, or rough sleeping.
