ELIXIR is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join the international team at the ELIXIR Hub in Hinxton, UK on either a full time or part time basis. Working in the Administration and Operations team, the main purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the ELIXIR Hub. You will work in close collaboration with our administrative and operational staff, as well as all other teams at the ELIXIR Hub. It is expected that you will apply and actively contribute to further development of good administration and operations management practice and strong administrative capabilities within the ELIXIR Hub. You will be joining the ELIXIR Hub, the organizational Centre for ELIXIR: an intergovernmental organization that brings together life science resources from across Europe. As a distributed research infrastructure ELIXIR is built upon the bioinformatics services provided by the ELIXIR Nodes (organizational touch-points in 23 European countries). ELIXIR unites Europe’s leading life science organisations in managing and safeguarding the increasing volume of data being generated by publicly funded research. It coordinates, integrates and sustains bioinformatics resources across its member states and enables users in academia and industry to access services that are vital for their research.
