EUDA Governance exists in response to the increasing focus Regulators and Auditors (internal & external) are putting on validating that End User Computing Applications (EUCs) - a key area for potential risk - are adequately evaluated and controlled. EUCs are known as ‘End User Managed Applications’ (EUMAs) at the Bank, which are applications, used as part of a business process and maintained by the end user. EUMAs/EUCs comprise where the solution carries Inherent Business Risk and has no formal Information Technology (IT) support.
